Jeff Davis joined The David J. Joseph Company in 1988. He began his career as a Brokerage Representative in the St. Louis trading office before serving as the District Manager of the Salt Lake City trading office in 1996 and the St. Louis trading office in 2000. Following two years as General Manager at Trademark Metals Recycling, Jeff was promoted to President of Western Metals Recycling in 2006. In 2016, Jeff was appointed President of Advantage Metals Recycling, Texas Port Recycling and Western Metals Recycling. He earned a BS in Marketing from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
Vice President, Commercial
John Rakos entered the steel and scrap industry in 1988, and has experience in both commercial and operational roles. John joined The David J. Joseph family of companies in 2008 in conjunction with the acquisition of Galamba Metals Group and the subsequent formation of Advantage Metals Recycling. He has served as Vice President of Commercial since that time, and was appointed Vice President of Commercial for Texas Port Recycling in 2013. In 2016, John was appointed Vice President of Commercial for Advantage Metals Recycling, Texas Port Recycling and Western Metals Recycling. John holds an Economics degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
Vice President, Finance
Jeremy McRoberts joined The David J. Joseph Company in March 2008 as Controller for the Recycling Group in Cincinnati and was promoted to Director, Finance in 2011. Jeremy was promoted to Vice President of Finance at Western Metals Recycling in 2013, and in 2016 was appointed Vice President of Finance for Advantage Metals Recycling, Texas Port Recycling and Western Metals Recycling. Jeremy brings eight years of public accounting and corporate finance experience to The David J. Joseph family of companies and earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Jeremy is a Certified Public Accountant.
Director, Human Resources
Mark Clayton began his career with The David J. Joseph family of companies in 2020. He is Director of Human Resources for Advantage Metals Recycling, Texas Port Recycling and Western Metals Recycling. Mark has over 15 years of Human Resources experience with consumer products and food & beverage companies, including international experience in southeast Asia. Mark holds a BA in English from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
Vice President, Operations
Dale Shaw began his career with The David J. Joseph family of companies in 2006. He has served as General Manager for River Metals Recycling, Metal Recycling Services, and Trademark Metals Recycling prior to moving to Texas Port Recycling as General Manager in 2013. In 2016, Dale Shaw was promoted to Vice President Operations for Western Metals Recycling, Advantage Metals Recycling, and Texas Port Recycling. Dale brings over 36 years of experience in the scrap metal recycling industry to WMR, AMR, and TPR. Dale attended Anderson Area Vocational and Ivy Tech Community College.
